Ahmed is a great tour guide and his German is excellent. He has a deep knowledge of the history and his passion is inspiring. After the tour through the highlights of the GEM, we visited a a flower oil shop got some mocca or Thea offered by the shop runner. His product promotion was interesting and not at all pushy. The included meal after the promotion shop was simple but very authentic and very good. I can highly recommended the tour, the guide and the operator. All well organic on time and worth the money.

Wow!! What an amazing day it was! Its modern design, massive scale, and proximity to the Pyramids of Giza make it a truly remarkable gateway to Egypt’s ancient history. With thousands of artifacts—many displayed for the first time, including the full Tutankhamun collection—the museum offers an immersive blend of archaeology, architecture, and storytelling. It’s not just a museum, but a monumental celebration of Egypt’s heritage and a must-visit destination for anyone interested in human civilization.

The GEM met my expectations in several aspects. 1. A modern construction with all facilities like air condition, toilets, cafés. 2.A wide range of expositions and a clear way to proceed. 3. Especially clever is the idea of the Tutanhamun sector displaying all aspects of life around the death mask vitrine. 4. The idea of the big staircase with numerous statues is particularly appealing as one can blend into the climate of those times. My best mark 10/10.

My experience at the museum was truly wonderful. What stood out the most were the spacious areas that allowed visitors to move around comfortably and enjoy the exhibits at their own pace. Without a doubt, the museum holds immense value with its magnificent artifacts, all beautifully displayed to highlight their historical significance. May your nation achieve greater prosperity and distinction

What a fantastic museum... having a skip the queue tickets was definitely a good idea as the museum is very popular and very crowded. My only disappointment was that the museum doesn't have a formal catalogue/ book to compliment its amazing exhibits. Hopefully one is being compiled and I'll keep an eye out online .

It was an amazing experience from the minute we arrived. The staff were very helpful and guided us. There were no waiting in line at all. Inside the museum and all the surroundings were fantastic. We stayed for more than 7 hours. The rastaurants offered a wide selection of good food. I can only say: go visit!
