why watch bonnie and clyde
Bonnie & Clyde is an electrifying tale of two nobodies from West Texas who rose to fame as America's biggest folk heroes and a menace for the Texas law enforcement. When the two meet, their craving for excitement and fame combine with a desperate need to rise above their desperate situations. As the young lovers become more reckless and brazen, their journey turns into a harrowing adventure. When the couple and their loved ones find themselves on the wrong side of the law, they go on the run while resorting to robbery and murder along the way. As their fame continues to rise, their inevitable end looms closer.
Celebrating 10 years since its original opening at Broadway, the brand new production of the cult musical is coming to London's Art Theatre following two successful sell-out concert performances at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane this January. Jordan Luke Gage and Olivier-Award nominee Frances Mayli McCann star in the highly anticipated West End Premiere directed by Nick Winston. Tony nominee Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde) provides the music, lyrics are from Tony and Oscar winner Don Black (Sunset Boulevard), and a book by Emmy Award nominee Ivan Menchell. Book your tickets now to join the epic adventure of Bonnie and Clyde, featuring iconic songs such as “Raise A Little Hell”, “This World Will Remember Me”, and “Made In America”.
