Arena in Grandstand 1: This is an excellent location with the sharp turn T11. Seats here offer an incredible atmosphere, clouds of orange smoke, and great views of turns 11 and 12, making this a heart-pumping race experience for you. As the cars zoom past you in a bid to overtake their competitors, feel the adrenaline rush! The grandstand wraps around turn 12 on the inside of the track and is one of the largest grandstands on the circuit.
Gold: The Gold Grandstand is located inside the arena section. Since it is directly opposite the arena stands, so you'll be looking down on the cars. This grandstand will give you a great view of the track action and partying after the race.
Silver: The Silver Grandstand lies just on the exit and towards the final turn, This allows for a respectable vantage point while not sacrificing the atmosphere.
Bronze: The Bronze zone is also on the inside of the penultimate turn 13. This is an interesting place as this is where the cars are gearing up for the final corner of the track and feed off the pulsating atmosphere in the nearby arena grandstands.
Feel the excitement as the Dutch Grand Prix returns to Circuit Zandvoort for another thrilling season. Thousands of race fans attended the previous numbers and this year is set to be a record breaker.
Zandvoort is known for two things–the beach and the race track. What makes Circuit Zandvoort very unique is its location amidst the dunes. It has fast and challenging curves with a track length of 4.3 kilometers. It is considered to be one of the best tracks in Holland as hardly anywhere else do drivers race past the fans so often.
Day 1: Aug 25
12:30pm to 1:30pm
Free Practice 1 kick starts the festivities of the Dutch Grand Prix. Watch the drivers make adjustments to their vehicles and get accustomed to the challenging turns of the Zandvoort circuit.
4pm to 5pm
Free Practice 2 is held on the same day. This is reserved for longer stints on the track as drivers prepare for the qualifying round and ultimately the final race day.
Day 2: Aug 26
11:30am to 12:30pm
The Free Practice 3 session allows the drivers to focus on shorter runs to get ready for the following qualifying session.
3pm to 4pm
The Qualifying Session is held to determine the order that the cars will be lined up at the start of the race. The rule is, the fastest qualifier starts at the front and the slowest at the back.
Day 3: Aug 27
3pm onwards
On Race Day, all the drivers compete for the top position. The formation lap starts just before the actual race. It is a slow lap around the track to warm up. Cheer for your favorite team and witness the track action unfold before you.
