It was very easy and well organized. Because of the short tour we discovered the Jardin d'Acclimation. We never really knew it before. Denise, our guide, was informative and efficient.

The building is designed by Frank Gehry, one of the world's greatest living architects. It is fabulous. We were there to see the David Hockney exhibit-close to 400 pieces in all. The scope of his work is amazing. I especially liked the giant pictures he painted of a class (I presume), with a giant mirror behind them so you saw about 20 people front and back in one giant painting in different poses. HOW did he do that? The tour guide,Linda, told us great stories about the history of the park and how it originated. Also, she had the patience of Job when helping us oldsters download our information on our phones to get into the museum. The only downers were that they needed a ton more toilets (don't know if they have ever had an exhibition this large and popular). Also, I was told by staff that the gift shop would ship purchases back to the US, and then after waiting in line for 30 minutes. the cashiers told me that they would not ship items to the US.. Thank goodness the hotel we are staying in was able to get our items shipped for us, we won't talk about shipping charges.
