Super solid day trip! Sucks that you had to pay extra for certain spots like daybeds and cabanas, so I felt it was a bit overpriced for what it was, especially when you get that for free at different islands.

We had a little bit of a difficult time with booking. We booked our excursion directly online and it said they would call us to confirm pickup time. I never recieved a call so I called and the office was already closed so I had to call the next morning (same day as our tour) to ask them about what time we had to be at the port. We did the half day so we were told to be at the port by 11:30am and take off was 12pm. The person on the phone didn't even ask about my booking number or arrange a pickup transfer from our hotel like our tour included. So we just took a taxi and was at the port at the time they designated. So we paid for a service that was not offered or provided to us. When we were coming back we were confused at the departure time. We didn't know there were two options for the return boat back. So we left an hour earlier than we had anticipated because we thought that was our boat back. No one told us what time we should be leaving when we got in the boat so it wasn't clear.

Booked this tour the night before we went. Head out/ Southsea cruises didn't ask for my pick-up point for the morning transfer to the marina. Despite contacting the help desk and emailing SSC, no one contacted me. It was only by a random coincidence that the transfer bus was collecting other guests from my hotel that I was able to talk to the driver about my booking. If I had been in the lobby 2 minutes later, I would have missed him. This needs to improve. Malamala is promoted as a white sandy beach. Most of it is slippery rocks and broken coral. Hardly like the advertising. For $125au, I expected more.

It was a great trip altogether. Good food and great service altogether including transportation. Highly recommended!

Visited with my sister as a treat and wow, what a DAY. The boat ride over was a bit bumpy (hang onto ur hats lol) but once we landed, paradise. The staff greeted us with big smiles and welcome drinks—felt like VIPs for real. We nabbed two loungers under an umbrella, dropped our stuff, and hit the water. It’s so clear you can see tiny fish darting around your toes. Lunch was HUGE, way more filling than I thought, and the mocktails were super fresh. I kept reapplying sunscreen but still got a bit pink, oops. Biggest tip: bring your own snorkel gear if you can, theirs was mostly clean but mine just fits better. Stayed til the last boat, didn't want to leave. Gonna come back with friends next time!

Came solo for some much needed downtime. Rented a cabana (bit splurgy but SO worth it) and just read my book all day. The ocean breeze + sound of the water = total zen. Staff checked in a lot, never felt forgotten. Food portions are big, I couldn’t finish my lunch. There’s a big swing by the jetty, got a stranger to snap a pic for me. Very chill day—def recommend for solo travelers.
