Tips for getting the most out of your visit to the zoo! 1. Don’t buy your ticket at the gate! It’s more expensive than if you book it in advance on the website. 2. If you want to see the pandas, I recommend going right when the zoo opens in the morning—that’s when they’re most active and busy eating—or at the end of the day. I’ve tried both times, and it’s definitely worth it! 3. The sea lion show is a must-see! If you’d like to attend, I recommend having lunch at 11:30 a.m. at the Kilimanjaro restaurant (a burger, fries, and a drink for €13), then heading to the show, which takes place between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Have lunch early, because starting at 12:30 p.m., the lines at the restaurant get very long. 4. It’s best to go by car. If you don’t have one, there’s a bus that leaves from the train station once a day and takes you directly to the zoo. It’s the most beautiful zoo I’ve ever visited. The animals are very well cared for, there’s so much to see, and you can get a close-up view of them. Finally, don’t miss the koalas! Their enclosure is a bit hidden, but don’t hesitate to ask the staff for directions—they’ll show you where to find them.

A wonderful day out with the family at Beauval. Truly magical! We really appreciated the single admission price, which gave us access to all the shows. Good food at very reasonable prices. No crowds in the walkways. Very clean, and the staff was very friendly. And above all, a very well-designed wildlife park where the animals are treated very well. I highly recommend Beauval Park for a family day out!
