Pro tips to help you make a pick

Standard entry usually costs about ~€15–€20 per adult and covers the ~100 m indoor and outdoor decks. Entry + Euroscoop is typically ~€20–€27, so the upgrade makes most sense if you specifically want the higher rotating ride.

Online tickets are scanned at the base entrance and skip the ticket-purchase line, but not elevator, security, or Euroscoop queues. Forum reports suggest prebooking can save about ~10–20 minutes on busy days.

Sunset, weekend, and holiday slots are the hardest to get. Book those in advance; weekday mornings are usually calmer if you care more about shorter waits than evening light.

If the forecast shows fog, rain, or high wind, consider standard entry rather than paying extra for Euroscoop, meal packages, or adventure products. Visibility and outdoor access are weather-dependent, and Euroscoop can close for weather or maintenance.

Standard tickets are self-guided. Euroscoop adds automated audio commentary in the rotating glass cabin, but there is no standard live guide inside the tower.

Meal packages usually cost about ~€35–€80 per person and include observation deck access plus reserved seating and a set menu. They suit a slower ~2–3 hour visit; if you mainly want the view, entry plus a drink can be better value.

Adventure tickets are seasonal, weather-dependent, and usually ~€60–€100 per person. The descent is brief, but total onsite time can stretch to ~1.5–3 hours with briefing, preparation, and waiting.

If you’re fitting Euromast between trains or other bookings, choose standard entry and leave extra buffer for the ride down. A view-only visit is usually ~1–1.5 hours, but elevator queues can add time at peak periods.

About Euromast TV Tower - Rotterdam

Euromast combines several formats in one visit: indoor and outdoor decks at ~100 m, the rotating Euroscoop ride higher up the mast, and optional dining or seasonal adventure activities. The tower also contains two suites, Heaven and Stars, for overnight stays with after-hours access. That mix makes it more than a standard lookout platform.

AddressParkhaven 20, 3016 GM Rotterdam, Netherlands
Also known asEuromast Rotterdam

Did you know?

Euromast was built between 1958 and 1960 for the 1960 Floriade horticultural expo, linking the tower to post-war Rotterdam’s rebuilding story.

The tower originally stood at ~101 m. A later Space Tower addition brought Euromast to a total height of ~185 m.

Euromast is part of the World Federation of Great Towers, an international association of major observation towers.

Euromast can gently sway in strong winds. Visitors sometimes notice the movement, but it is an intentional and safe part of the tower’s engineering.

Two suites, Heaven and Stars, sit between ~100–110 m in the tower and include breakfast plus tower access outside public hours.

Why visit Euromast TV Tower - Rotterdam?

360° Views from the ~100 m Deck

The main deck at ~100 m gives a full-circle view over Rotterdam’s skyline, the Maas, Erasmus Bridge, Kop van Zuid, and the port. On clear days, visibility can extend up to ~30 km, so you can look well beyond the city center.

Choose Indoor Glass or Open-Air Terrace

You can stay inside behind floor-to-ceiling windows or step onto the outdoor terrace for unobstructed photos. The open deck adds railings, viewfinders, and the feel of the tower’s height and wind, while the indoor area offers a calmer viewpoint.

Euroscoop Ride Higher Up the Mast

Euroscoop is a rotating glass elevator that continues higher up the mast after the main deck. The cabin slowly turns during the ascent and descent and includes audio commentary, so the upgrade adds both extra height and a moving 360° perspective.

Brasserie Meals and Drinks Above Rotterdam

The Euromast Brasserie and bar sit on the observation level, letting you turn a short tower stop into lunch, high tea, drinks, or dinner with skyline views. Meal packages can include reserved seating and a set menu, while standard entry lets you order separately.

Seasonal Abseiling and Zipline Descents

In season, Euromast runs supervised abseiling or zipline descents from the tower exterior. These activities are weather-dependent and brief once you start, but they add an entirely different experience from a standard observation-deck visit.

Plan your visit

Main Entrance (Parkhaven side)

This is the primary entrance for all regular visitors, located at ground level at the base of the tower facing Parkhaven and Het Park. Use this entrance whether you have a pre-booked ticket, need to buy a ticket on site, are visiting the brasserie, or are joining a seasonal activity. Mobile tickets are scanned here before elevator access. Walk-up visitors may need to queue at the base for ticket purchase and elevator boarding, especially on busy afternoons and weekends. The entrance is step-free, and elevators provide access to the observation deck. If you are arriving from the tram stop or on-site parking, follow the signs toward the tower’s front doors.

A great trip for the whole family. We arrived at a time when there were fewer visitors, so we could take photos in peace. Euroscoop is a great addition and an attraction that I have never experienced before. Beautiful views of the whole of Rotterdam stretch out from all over the tower. Worth a visit! And with Headout it's faster and more convenient 😊
