Gershwin Piano Quartet

Featuring 4 pianists, the Gershwin Piano Quartet add new elements to the music of George Gershwin. With 352 keys between them, the quartet improvises on pre-existing melodies and create their own tunes. Their music is at the crossroads of the old world and new, classical and jazz, classical ballet and broadway theater. They are known for their energetic, virtuosic concerts. The band comprises of Andre Desponds, Stefan Wirth, Benjamin Engel and Mischa Cheung.

The concert will feature 4 pianists reworking and improvise on classical works. The Gershwin Piano Quartet had received international acclamation and are known presenting their intricate harmonies in breathtaking fashion. A concert that you surely shouldn’t miss!
