Getting started

If you choose the round-trip transfers option, you will ride the complimentary shuttle service from the Thapae Office at 10:00 AM or 2:00 PM directly to Elephant Jungle Cafe. On arrival, your expert English-speaking guide or staff will check you in and outline the schedule. You then receive your first set of elephant food baskets and head toward the interaction area.

This visit focuses on relaxed, ethical time with rescued elephants plus a hands-on eco workshop, all set within the grounds of Elephant Jungle Cafe. The pace is unhurried so you can alternate between feeding sessions, crafting, and simply enjoying the cafe surroundings.

• The elephant poop eco-friendly paper workshop walks you through a zero-waste process that transforms recycled elephant fiber into high-quality paper, so you can take part in each step and understand how the material is cleaned and turned into usable sheets.
• A complimentary Thai-style tube ice pop is provided after your activities, letting you cool down with a traditional local refreshment between feeding sessions or after the workshop.
• An expert English-speaking guide or staff member is with you to explain elephant behavior, demonstrate safe feeding, and guide you through the elephant poop paper workshop so you know what you are doing at every stage.
• Round-trip transfers are included if you book the shuttle option, so your transport between the Thapae Office and Elephant Jungle Cafe is handled for you without needing to arrange separate travel.
