Nous recommandons grandement cette expérience avec Headout. L'achat des billets, les instructions et le déroulement étaient très simples et efficaces. Nous avons trouvé que la visite avait été grandement bonifiée par le guide audio.

Molto efficiente, saltata una coda infinita grazie all'acquisto online. Anche audioguida molto utile perché all'interno non ci sono molte indicazioni

Der Einlass lief reibungslos. Der Klostergang wirkt wie aus einem Märchen, es gibt viele wunderschöne Details zu entdecken. Das Refektorium mit seinen blau-gelben Azujelos und der Geheimtür ist ein Augenschmaus. Den Kirchenraum durften wir nur im ersten Drittel und leider nicht vollständig besichtigen. Das war sehr schade. Außerdem mussten wir uns vor der Kirche ein zweites Mal in der Hitze anstellen, was uns sehr gestört hat. Der Audioführer war hilfreich und interessant.

I don't think I had a smooth entry. People regulating the entrance couldn't help explaining me where I should go. So, I went through the main entrance where everyone is heading. I liked that I had an audio guide. But the problem with it as the half of places are currently beyond access, like the Church.

I was happy that because I bought tickets that there was a specific entrance for the purchased time. I was a little disappointed because I also bought the audio guide but there were areas in the guide that were not available for viewing. Overall, the monastery was beautiful!

I just visited the Jerónimos Monastery in Lisbon yesterday, and I have mixed feelings about it. Don't get me wrong, the building is absolutely beautiful. The architecture is amazing, and the details on the stone are really impressive. The inner courtyard, which is called the cloister, was definitely my favorite part. It was nice to walk around there. It is also really cool that you can see the tomb of Vasco da Gama inside the church. However, there are a few things I did not like. First of all, the line to get inside was crazy! We waited for almost an hour in the hot sun. If you want to go, you definitely need to buy tickets online before you arrive. Second, it was very crowded inside, which made it hard to take good photos. Also, there are not many signs explaining the history in English, so you don't really know what you are looking at. Overall, it is a pretty place to see, but be prepared for the crowds and long waiting times!

The monestary was truly awesome! The line to get in -- even after arriving 30 minutes before our ticket time-- was quite long. We took our time and listened to the audio tour which was nice to have. The light inside the center was so gorgeous and we took tons of beautiful images. My only complaint is that the chapel/church area is open to the public for free without a ticket-- and even if you were inside the monestary with a ticket-- they ask you to exit and re enter in the public line. After having paid to be there I did not want to stand in a long line in the heat of the day. They should have a separate line for people who have purchased tickets and allow them to enter as they please.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: Please note that off-shoulder tops, dresses, and knee-high shorts are not recommended.

Keep in mind that food & beverages and large bags or backpacks are not allowed on this experience.

Visitors are not allowed to take photographs in some parts of the monastery.

There is medium accessibility for guests with reduced mobility.

The lower level has wheelchair access, though some sections are cobblestoned.

The Jerónimos Monastery remains closed on Monday, January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, and December 25.

The Monastery is closed between 9:30am and 1pm on October 24th and December 5th.
