St. Peter's is absolutely massive and incredibly ornate, a stunning display of gold and marble architecture. It was busy, but not overwhelmingly so, allowing us to move around and take everything in. Michelangelo's Pietà is a true masterpiece, protected behind glass but still breathtaking. It's a place of immense scale and historical significance that is definitely worth the visit.

Accès facile grâce au billet coupe-file. L'audioguide is a must pour profiter pleinement de la visite à son propre rythme et pour ne rien manquer. Découvrir la place Saint-Pierre, ses colonnes et la Basilique au tournant d'une rue est très impressionnant par sa grandeur et majesté. L'intérieur de la Basilique est époustouflant. Une visite incontournable à Rome.

Sehr gut organisiert, sofortiger Zugang zum Petersdom. Audioguide hat auch sehr gut geklappt und war informativ. Nicht zuviel, nicht zu wenig Information. Petersdom ist überwältigend. Allerdings kein bedächtiger Ort in der Ferienzeit ;-) Es hat sich dennoch gelohnt.

Terwijl er lange rijen mensen stonden aan te schuiven voor een ticket, kon ik via een andere ingang vlotjes doorlopen. Alles was goed geregeld. Tickets in de app, super gemakkelijk. Sint-Pieters zelf is monumentaal, ongelooflijk.

Excellent... I didn't actually bring headphones which was my fault , maybe a bit clearer, but certainly me... the quick line was worth it alone as it was a very hot day... recommend for sure

However nobody was waiting for us at the meeting point, after a phone call there was no.problem to enter san pietro without queuing

Entry through the Holy Door is not included.

Infants are not allowed inside St. Peter’s Basilica.

Accessibility

Both experiences are not wheelchair accessible; some areas include stairs and narrow passageways.

These visits are unsuitable for individuals with walking difficulties, heart conditions, claustrophobia, dizziness, certain disabilities, anxiety disorders, or for pregnant visitors.

All visitors must pass airport-style security checks.

Additional information

At St. Peter’s Basilica, there are two entrance lines, a free entry line and a reserved entry line. Only visitors with reserved tickets can use the reserved queue. Brief waits may still occur during peak hours due to security procedures. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time to ensure smooth check-in.

Entry is only permitted through the reserved entrance line.

Both basilicas enforce a strict dress code; failure to comply may result in denied entry.

The basilicas may close certain sections due to force majeure, which does not entitle visitors to a refund.
