One of the Vallarta adventures people talk about often is the dolphin encounter. Thankfully, there are a few “swimming with dolphins” options, but none quite like the royal swim. It combines your love for the friendly flippers and exhilarating action and speed together in one perfect package. Enjoy this unforgettable experience with the dolphins, guaranteed to be enjoyable by all members of the family.

After a 15-minute briefing, splash into the water and be greeted warmly by the bottlenosed creatures. Swim with them, watch them shake your hands with their fins, and receive a slippery peck on your cheek! Enjoy “foot push” and “dorsal tow” rides, and glide upon the waters with the help of the adorable dolphins. Take advantage of the free admission into Aquaventuras Park and its many water slides, the kid’s playground, the swimming pool area, and the fresh river, all set in a stunning natural environment.

Important Information

The minimum age to carry out the Zip Line, Climbing Wall, and Challenge is 5 yrs

The weight range for the Zip Line, Climbing Wall, and Challenge is 90 lbs- 240 lbs

Don’t include infants under 3.3 ft in your reservation as they are free of charge; however, be sure to add them in the comments section of your reservation

Children over 4.6 ft will be allowed to participate alone in any of our dolphin programs by paying the adult rate.

Children over 3.9 ft up to 4.6 ft will be allowed to participate alone in the Encounter program

Children over 3.3 ft and up to 3.9 ft will be allowed to participate in the Encounter program accompanied by a paying adult (1 adult per kid)

Children under 3.3 ft will be considered infants and will perform Encounter activities regardless of the program in which they participate (it is a requirement that they fit the vest)

The use of a life jacket is required in all water programs

Safety Requirements

For security reasons, the use of cameras in the water is not allowed, professional photos will be available for sale

This activity will have a maximum of 10 people for a closer experience

For safety reasons, pregnant women (5 months and up) can't participate in any of the aquatic programs

Women who are less than 5 months into their pregnancy can participate in the Encounter program only if accompanied by another adult and after signing a Responsibility Form

Guests suffering from heart problems, high blood pressure, breathing problems, epilepsy, diabetes, and acrophobia are also not allowed to participate
