Important Information

• Unfortunately, the sea lions are not available on Fridays in the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM batch

• Don’t include infants under 3.3 ft in your reservation as they are free of charge; however, be sure to add them in the comments section of your reservation

• A valid ID is an essential requirement to visit Cozumel

• All participants must be at least 3.9 to perform snorkel activities

• Children over 4.6 ft will be allowed to participate alone in any of our dolphin programs by paying the adult rate

• Children over 3.9 ft up to 4.6 ft will be allowed to participate alone in the Encounter program

• Children over 3.3 ft and up to 3.9 ft will be allowed to participate in the Encounter program accompanied by a paying adult (1 adult per kid)

• Children under 3.3 ft will be considered infants and will perform Encounter activities regardless of the program in which they participate (it is a requirement that they fit the vest)

• In this program, groups have a maximum of 20 people for a better experience

• The use of life jackets is mandatory in all water programs

• Currently, the facility is NOT accepting US dollars in cash (check-in, restaurant, boutique, and photos). However, they do accept Mexican pesos in cash. If you want to use an international credit or debit card, payments will be done in Mexican or US currency

Safety Requirements

• For security reasons, the use of cameras in the water is prohibited. Professional photos will be available for sale

• For safety reasons, expectant mothers in their 5th month can't participate in any of the aquatic programs

• Expectant mothers of less than 5 months can participate in the Encounter program only if accompanied by another adult and after signing a waiver

• Since the natural environment is fragile and there is a need to protect the reefs, sunscreens (even reef safe & biodegradable sunscreens) are not allowed in any of our programs

Getting There

• If you are traveling from Cancun or Riviera Maya, you must go to Playa del Carmen and from the federal pier take the ferry to Cozumel

• The ferry departs every hour, but it is recommended that you verify schedules and rates with your hotel concierge

• Take a taxi to Chankanaab National Park, once you get to Cozumel island

• When you arrive at the park, follow the signs that will lead you to the Dolphin Discovery facilities
