This famous church and crypt contains the skeletal remains of 3,700 bodies believed to be Capuchin friars buried by their order in between the years 1500 and 1870. Dimly lit by natural light, the crypt walls are elaborately decorated with the skeletal remains, making this crypt a macabre work of art that you must witness to believe.
