    What our guests say

Went with my boyfriend for a day trip to Chefchaouen and honestly, it was pretty EPIC. The driver (Abdullah I think?) was super chill and got us there safely. The city is soooo photogenic, but, heads up, some of the locals do NOT want pics taken in certain alleys. We got gently told off once, oops. Weather was perfect, bit crowded near the main square but if you wander off you’ll find quiet corners. The only downside was we felt a bit rushed at lunch, wish we had more time to just wander. Still, 100% worth it for the blue walls alone.

Chefchaouen is like a dream in blue! Did the trip solo and at first was kinda nervous but turns out the guide (Mustafa) was hilarious and had SO many stories. The car was comfy, had strong AC (lifesaver). Not gonna lie, there’s a lot of stairs, so wear comfy shoes. Got mint tea at a tiny cafe with goats wandering around outside, which was random and cool. Met another couple from Germany, we all got lost together for a bit and laughed about it. Would totally do it again!

Family trip w/ 2 kids. The city was beautiful but honestly it was pretty crowded and my youngest got cranky fast. The guide was nice, but we didn’t get as much history as I hoped. The car ride is LONG – bring snacks, trust me. Highlight: seeing cats everywhere (my daughter counted 27). Would go again but maybe not with little ones.

We did a group tour, 6 of us plus the driver. Our guide, Aziz, was super friendly and had great recommendations for lunch (try the tagine at Cafe Sofia!). The road is pretty twisty, so if you get carsick, pack some meds. Chefchaouen itself is GORGEOUS—so much blue. Only thing, we felt a bit rushed at the waterfall stop, could’ve stayed longer. Still, def worth it for the photos and vibes.

Chefchaouen is even bluer than the pics! Our driver, Said, was super punctual and the car was ultra clean. We had enough free time to wander and shop (got a handmade rug!). Not crowded at all in the morning, but by noon it gets busy. If you like cats, you’ll be in heaven. Will recommend to friends.
