Luigi the driver and his friend -- Guillermo, were great at their jobs. They were not very chatty with us, which I liked. Guides always overdo it trying to entice you to join their conversation. I'm glad he told us the important things and pointed places out along the way. I recommend him for people who like to learn, and then Sit back and relax.😎

An intense day, where we saw archaeological and natural wonders! The only regret is that everything is done in a hurry, not even time to take a photo other than while walking, or to strike a pose at the bookshop! Even lunch was taken in less than an hour! As for Vesuvius, we went up in a mini-bus, turned around at the highest point accessible to vehicles and then went back down again... quite frustrating, I must admit!

Both Marco, the bus guide, and Sasha, the Pompeii guide, were very friendly and their explanations were very thorough. Sorrento wasn't really worth it, but overall it was a very good tour.

Pompei - Naples was my paid trip, instead we stopped in Sorrento for a total of one hour. That was lunch time. We saw nothing of Sorrento. Afterwards we went to Pompeii, 2 hours to see it, which I think was not enough. Why we didn't go to Naples, I didn't get a meaningful answer. The bus driver was nice, drove very well and the guide told us a lot of things on the way. You definitely complain that we were not informed in advance that we were not going to Naples.

What to bring

Carry a hat and sunscreen because Pompeii can get sunny, especially during the summer.

This experience involves a fair amount of walking, and comfortable shoes are recommended.
