Small cash (MAD): You’ll need roughly 70 DH for Volubilis entry and 10–20 DH for small tips or public restrooms.

Motion sickness bands: The drive through the Rif Mountains features many curves; travelers often find these helpful for a smoother ride.

What’s Not Allowed

Space in shared minivans is limited. Please restrict luggage to one small daypack per person for maximum comfort.

Chefchaouen and Volubilis are not wheelchair accessible due to hundreds of stairs and uneven, ancient dirt paths.

We recommend using a baby carrier; navigating a stroller through the narrow, stepped Medina alleys is extremely difficult.
