Vartegn i Caserta

Sikke et utroligt stykke historie! Vi var dybt imponerede over alt, hvad vi så. En lille bonus er restauranten halvvejs oppe på gåturen mod vandfaldet.

En lille udflugt gav mig mulighed for at besøge dette fortryllende sted. Ingen kø ved indgangen. Vi viste billetten, og en lang og stille gåtur, hvor vi lyttede til naturen, begyndte.

The palace is amazing and well worth a visit; however, I didn't need to stress about the tickets since there was no one in line when we arrived at 11:30am. We paid for the Audio Guide, but it was very frustrating for me to use. I thought the it would go in order from place to place and I even hoped that it would come on automatically as we entered each room, but that was not the case. I had a hard time matching the room we were in with the correct description on the Audio Guide. In addition, I had opted for the English tour, but in the middle of the tour, it suddenly switched to Italian for a few of the rooms. I got frustrated and just gave up using it. It was easier for me to just read the English part of the signs that were in each room. A map showing the route with the rooms being labeled would have been very helpful. The water features in the gardens aren't operating right now, but don't miss the grotto in the English Garden!
