Osaka castle was great!!! if you go to Osaka and you miss Osaka castle, you missed the best thing in Osaka. The problem is they got a jerk where the line you wait in line to get the ticket or you can just go through with the ticket you buy online. This jerk has got everybody going to the buy the ticket line. It's a good thing that people in front of me realize that and we went back and went to the right line which there was no line you just walked in with the ticket you bought online. I don't get that what a jerk man what a real fricking jerk and we were telling him we already have a ticket. It doesn't matter you gotta stand in this line and he was wrong. Just a real freaking jerk.

Osaka Castle holds its impressive architecture, and has a insightful ordered exhibition throughout its 8 floors. Taking the elevator to the 5th floor then go up to the observatory on the 8th floor to view the golden shachihoko embellishments with the modern city in the background. We learned about Hideyoshi's life the wax and waning of the medieval Shogun. It is a worthwhile trip!

Combining both activities in one booking was fantastic. Have to recommend this to anyone tgat visits Osaka. The skip the line feature was a god send as the cue was already at 30 min wait when we arrived. Strongly recommend these guys and would have done the other activities like the river cruise had we had time!

Purchase tickets while standing in front of Osaka castle. The process was extremely stream lined. Within minutes, literally, I was moving ahead of the loooong line of people waiting to purchase tickets at the ticket window! Awesome!

I loved the experience and history displayed on the museum, with such a unique experience, a wonderful site anyone must come to see, and there are other attractions around the castle so you can do many stuff!!

Denne attraktion er inspireret af Taisho-perioden og er en vigtig historisk kulturarv, bygget i det gamle Japan. Udforsk Osaka-slottets historiske område i din egen tid og i dit eget tempo. Det er en oplevelse, man ikke bør gå glip af, når man er i Osaka. I 1583 begyndte Hideyoshi Toyotomi at forsøge at bygge Osaka-slottet på stedet Ishiyama Hongaji, som var egnet til at bebo en hersker.

Efter Hideyoshis død overgik styret til Tokugawa-familien, og Osaka-slottet faldt i 1615 ved Osaka Natsunokin. Dette kulturarvsted blev derefter genopbygget efter ordre fra den anden shogun Hidetada Tokugawa, hvilket tog omkring 10 år. Dette sted spillede en stor rolle som base for den vestlige regering for shogunen. Med en spektakulær belysning og japanske historiske skatte viser denne Osaka-slottet-belysning over 3 millioner farverige LED-lys på en 300 cm lang billedrulle. Gå ikke glip af dette 430 år gamle bygningsværk i Osaka.

Store kufferter, skarpe metaller samt mad og drikke er ikke tilladt på slottet. Kun vand er tilladt på området.

Fotografering med blitz er ikke tilladt i visse områder af slottet.

Tilgængelighed

Der gives gratis adgang til besøgende med handicapbevis. En ledsager kan også komme gratis ind.

Slottet er tilgængeligt med kørestol og barnevogn. Men hvis slottet bliver for overfyldt på en bestemt dag, vil klapvogne ikke være tilladt.
