Kaz was the best tour guide i had had in Jan. He was knowledgeable, kind, caring, funny, a great story teller with great sense of humour. The 2 1/2 had went so quickly . My only criticism of the tour was that I paid AUD $48 whilst whilst other member of our tour group paid nothing but left a tip. Shook b the same price for everyone otherwise you feel ripped off.

Definitely get tickets online for the Osaka Castle. The line to buy tickets was long. It was great to be able to bypass the line and get in a line for the elevator to the 5th floor. Though you can always walk up to the 8th floor. That being said- I was disappointed with the Osaka Castle. I felt herded through. It was crowded so it was hard to view the exhibits. I would recommend the Nishinomaru Garden next door. It costs 300 yen. It's calm and gives opportunities to see the castle and sit and enjoy the surroundings.

The holographic videos were fanatastic. The information was interetsting and the views from the top of the Castle spectacular. There were a large variety of artefacts and I should have spent more time with the pictures which are detailed and annotated to reveal the history behind the battle scenes. This was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan. One note would be to have more dates for the aretfacts to put into perspective the timeline and how advanced the civilisation was!

Osaka castle was a fabulous day out . We purchased the tickets in advance and it definitely pays off as the queues were getting long as we were arriving . . The castle itself was well laid out with the different exhibits on the different floors . The grounds were equally spectacular and the various little temples etc around added to the day

No hassles and no queues. Was a wet day so standing in the rain was not ideal and we didn't have to as we already had our tickets with Headout. Skipped the queue and walked straight in to The Castle Osaka. Absolutely stunning and view to die for!

Had a wonderful time at Osaka Castle! Easy to buy tickets on headout app! Get there early for the best unobstructed views of an amazing city. Would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks for keeping history alive!

The best view of the castle is from the outside. However the 360 view from the top of the climb was lovely and the information in each level was interesting. Don't go inside thinking you will see castle' interior. It's more of display for the historical information

Denne attraktion er inspireret af Taisho-perioden og er en vigtig historisk kulturarv, bygget i det gamle Japan. Udforsk Osaka-slottets historiske område i din egen tid og i dit eget tempo. Det er en oplevelse, man ikke bør gå glip af, når man er i Osaka. I 1583 begyndte Hideyoshi Toyotomi at forsøge at bygge Osaka-slottet på stedet Ishiyama Hongaji, som var egnet til at bebo en hersker.

Efter Hideyoshis død overgik styret til Tokugawa-familien, og Osaka-slottet faldt i 1615 ved Osaka Natsunokin. Dette kulturarvsted blev derefter genopbygget efter ordre fra den anden shogun Hidetada Tokugawa, hvilket tog omkring 10 år. Dette sted spillede en stor rolle som base for den vestlige regering for shogunen. Med en spektakulær belysning og japanske historiske skatte viser denne Osaka-slottet-belysning over 3 millioner farverige LED-lys på en 300 cm lang billedrulle. Gå ikke glip af dette 430 år gamle bygningsværk i Osaka.

Store kufferter, skarpe metaller samt mad og drikke er ikke tilladt på slottet. Kun vand er tilladt på området.

Fotografering med blitz er ikke tilladt i visse områder af slottet.

Der gives gratis adgang til besøgende med handicapbevis. En ledsager kan også komme gratis ind.

Slottet er tilgængeligt med kørestol og barnevogn. Men hvis slottet bliver for overfyldt på en bestemt dag, vil klapvogne ikke være tilladt.
