Dublin byture

On the visit we learned much about the history of Irish Rock n' Roll and we saw many legendary instruments like guitars and drums. But in these rooms you can feel the atmosphere of the production of Rock n' Roll music over the last decade of years. This was an amazing experience.

Absolutely amazing knowledge by the guy who took us round. That jukebox in the corner blasting out my favourite song , seeing that jukebox ,oh my days!

My 1st brother-in-law is of Irish descent and talked about his nurse grandmother who immigrated to the U.S. knowing that her chances of returning to Ireland were poor, and of his father who saw signs posted at businesses saying " Irish Need Not Apply." During my 1st visit to Ireland, I wanted to learn more about the history, culture, and diaspora of the Irish people from their point of view. The museum did not dissapoint. From the stacks of trunks and suitcases the immigrants carried of which the visitor could only imagine its precious cargo inside, to the multi-sensory exhibit to help envisign what the Irish missed: the smells and sights, feelings of touch and sound which are personal and familiar to everyone. The remainder of the exhibit was rich with Irish culture and history. It was well organized and easy to follow. My opinion is that no visit to Ireland is complete without visiting this wonderful museum. Bonus: Great location. easy to find, and eateries in the sahred mall from which to choose from.

Jeg besøgte for nylig EPIC-museet under min rejse til Irland. Det var et fantastisk besøg. Jeg kan varmt anbefale at besøge EPIC. Det var uden tvivl det bedste museum, jeg nogensinde har været på.

Fantastic experience. I recommand everybody to do this when first time in Dublin. You see parts of the city you'll never see by foot! The busdriver is a jou to listen to.

Jeg var vild med James – han er ny i rollen som turleder. Fantastisk indsats! Desværre var den anden guide, vi havde, svær at forstå på grund af en kraftig irsk accent og en meget hurtig tale. Men jeg nød dagen alligevel.
