I really enjoyed the Cartier exhibition in Melbourne. There were some beautiful pieces on display, and it was interesting to see the detail and workmanship that went into them. Being able to look at the jewellery up close gave me a much better appreciation of the designs and the work involved in creating each piece. There was plenty to look at, and I enjoyed taking my time rather than rushing through. Some of the pieces were quite spectacular, while others were simpler but just as lovely. You don’t need to know much about jewellery to enjoy it. It was a lovely way to spend a few hours and something a bit different to do in Melbourne. I’m glad I went and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys jewellery, design or simply looking at beautiful things.

I went to the Galery to see this exhibition. I was amazed of how many gorgeous pieces of jewelry were displayed and how beautiful they were. It was impossible to choose one as my favorite one. The rooms were so quiet, everyone was mesmerized by the jewels displayed. I couldn't even take photos because I just wanted to be present and enjoy it. How many opportunities do you have to see this ? Well, not many , so i am Glad I went to be able to enjoy it. Every piece was displayed beautifully, with so Much detail and grace. Congratulations to the organizers of this exhibition.

I was visiting Melbourne doing a leisurely walk around the city when the Cartier diamond exhibition signage leapt out at me from the side of th impressive NGV building. The next day I attended the exhibition and couldn't have been more impressed from ease of booking, exhibition layout, to the stunning jewellery exhibits with informative backstories to the various Cartier commissions through the years. It was a unique, memorable experience for this tourist and I highly recommend this exhibition to others.

I visited the Cartier exhibition twice. It was so beautiful, informative and interesting. I went with my adult daughters. We needed three hours, each time, to see everything. We used the headphones the first time. We went to the exhibition soon after it opened, and the timed tickets were good because there were just enough people that you could get to see everything. The second time we went, it was noisier and no time was allocated for viewing but we still really enjoyed the beauty of the jewels.

Amazing experience. Fantastic exhibition. I visited the exhibition with my 19yo granddaughter and swe both enjoyed it immensely. Apart of obviously amazing Cartier jewellery, but also Big Congratulations to everyone who participated and was involved in organising and establishing this absolutely brilliant event. That's incredible work. I Thank You NGV! As always, brilliant 💝 To be very hard to choose one or even a few 'favourites'. You just have to see the whole exhibition!

Absolutely epic! The Cartier exhibition at the NGV was simply breathtaking. The incredible collection of jewellery, craftsmanship and history was beautifully presented, with so many exquisite pieces to admire. Eight rooms offered spectacular pieces and stories! A truly special exhibition and a wonderful experience an absolute must see for anyone who appreciates art, design, history and exceptional craftsmanship. Superb entertainment and eats too! 💎✨

It was fantastic to see all of the amazing creations over time by Cartier. The jewls I can not complain about. I thought there were too many people inside the exhibition at one time. It would be great if they limited the amount of people because I had to line up for over 20 mins to see one jewel and some points. The temperature inside was so hot. It was a cold day so everyone had jackets and jumpers on. With all the body heat and clothing there really is no need to put the heating on full. There was hardly any merchandise to purchase after the exhibition. Thats the reason for the 4 stars 🌟

What a spectacular exhibition of the most exquisite jewellery of our time! And previous times! The curator put together a display that was thoughtful and built a sense of history of these amazing jewellers, the Cartiers. Including the famous women who wore their pieces and some family history of the designers was so interesting. The different stones they used and the styles they developed showed how they became so renowned. A truly amazing show!

To describe the Exhibition as breathtaking is inadequate! Yes, the jewels are stunning, however my appreciation of the extensive display was so enhanced by the detailed explanation of each piece. It was emotional to be in such close proximity to these famous pieces. To see Princess Margaret's Rose Clip Brooch brought tears! Thank you for choosing NGV for this wonderful event! It was well worth my flight from Brisbane to see it!
