The staff were super friendly, from the entrance all the way to the top. Beautiful view at dusk. The lighting inside could be adjusted a bit more so you can see outside better. But overall, it was really great.

From a height of about 200 meters, the TV Tower offers a wonderful view of Berlin. The information signs below the windows are very helpful for identifying interesting buildings. The historical context provided complements the information very well. We wholeheartedly recommend a visit.

Visiting the TV tower was a special experience for me and our three grandchildren. Thanks to our reservation, we didn't have to wait, and we were able to go up quickly and enjoy the magnificent view of Berlin. This was our second time doing this. It was just great.

Visiting the TV tower was quite an experience. The 10:00 p.m. reservation was perfect for seeing Berlin at night from above. The view was fantastic. The security staff was very friendly and helped pass the time with a few funny remarks. Thumbs up

Berlin TV Tower

Rising above Alexanderplatz since 1969, the Berlin TV Tower is the tallest structure in Germany and a symbol of the city’s post-war transformation. This architectural landmark offers a unique vantage point to take in Berlin’s diverse skyline.

Observation deck: Step onto the 203-meter-high platform for sweeping views over Berlin, including landmarks like the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate.

360° views: Walk the circular deck to spot the city’s neighborhoods, historic sites, and modern districts from every angle.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID to match the name on your booking

What’s not allowed

Large luggage, including suitcases, bags, and shopping bags, is not permitted inside the tower. Backpacks must not exceed 45 × 35 × 20 cm (W × H × L).

Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Flash photography, tripods, and filming equipment are not allowed inside the observation areas.

Baby carriages are not permitted upstairs but can be stored free of charge at the cloakroom.

Accessibility

The Berlin TV Tower is not barrier-free. Wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility cannot access the tower.

Additional information

Make your way to the security control point on the first floor of the TV Tower. The entrance steps are located on the tower's northern side, directly opposite the Alexanderplatz S-Bahn (rail) station.

Your ticket is valid for the time slot selected. Please check your ticket for the exact validity period.

For safety reasons, all visitors must pass through security checks, including a metal detector and a bag inspection.

Payments at the Sphere Bar on the Observation Deck and at Restaurant Sphere are cashless. EC, debit, and credit cards are accepted.

Restaurant table reservations are automatically arranged when you purchase a restaurant ticket or restaurant package.
