Get the best of Darwin on this guided day tour as you visit Kakadu National Park, Warradjan Cultural Centre, and other Aboriginal sites. Explore the coastal areas lined with mangrove trees that blend into rolling plains. Observe lowland hills with sandstone escarpments in the East, forest habitats, and open woodland in between.
Warradjan Cultural Centre
Visit the Warradjan Cultural Centre to learn about the traditions and customs of the Aboriginal Bininj people before you return to Darwin. With each season, the land changes shape and color giving it a dynamic feel. No other place has such an intense concentration and diversity of wildlife and birdlife.
Yellow Water Billabong Cruise
Accompanied by a guide, the Yellow Water Billabong Cruise offers you a chance to spot saltwater crocodiles and brightly-colored birdlife. Stroll along the boardwalk to explore the freshwater mangroves, pandanus, and paperbark forests surrounding the shore. The Yellow Water Billabong river's surface is covered with pink and white water lilies, making it a sight to behold.
Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie
After lunch, cross the Adelaide River and Marrakai Plains to reach Nourlangie Rock. The most prominent Aboriginal rock art gallery is at Nourlangie, which dates back thousands of years.
