Visiting Phuket Elephant Care was the highlight of my trip. The tour is thoughtfully designed to let you connect with elephants in the most ethical and respectful way. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and explained everything clearly about the elephants’ care and history. 🐘 Feeding the elephants was magical — seeing their personalities shine through as they gently took food from our hands. The mud spa and shower were unforgettable; it’s not every day you get to splash around with such majestic animals while knowing you’re helping them stay cool and healthy.

Meet rescued elephants at Phuket Elephant Care, starting with a warm welcome of coffee, tea, and light snacks, followed by feeding them fresh seasonal fruits with an English-speaking guide by your side.

This experience combines elephant care with Thai culture through cooking class and crafts, making it an ideal short, small-group tour in Phuket.

Super moment de partage Les soigneurs sont vraiment super sympa 😊 Les éléphants apprécient et ne sont pas forcés Évidemment ce sont des animaux sauvés de cirques ou travaux forcés donc ils sont habitués à l'homme mais on voient qu'ils sont bien

Footwear: Sneakers best; sandals okay, but beware of rocky terrain.

Clothing: Wear light, comfy clothes. Avoid long dresses during the rainy season.

What to pack: Sunscreen, bug spray, hat, water bottle, sunglasses

Experiences are not wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Additional information

You can take photos with the elephants, but just give your mahout (elephant handler) a heads-up first. They’ll guide you safely and let you know where and when it’s okay to snap pictures!
