Pickup at our place of residence, traveling in small groups, the locations visited were fantastic, and the driver’s hospitality. However, we have the following complaints: The pickup time was delayed by 45 minutes (3:45 p.m. instead of 3:00 p.m.), which prevented us from visiting the Temple of Poseidon—since we arrived 15 minutes before closing—and from enjoying the sunset, even though we had paid for this service (excluding admission tickets). We couldn’t hear the driver’s explanations because we were sitting in the back of the van; the driver seemed to be addressing only the people closest to him. We were never able to benefit from your driver’s tour commentary. As a result, the driver drove very fast along the coast without letting us enjoy the Riviera and without providing any commentary.

Swimming in the lake was fantastic, and we got to the temple just before sunset. Nikos was a brilliant guide and was nore than happy to stay a bit longer so we got some great shots of the sun setting. 10/10 would go again!

Vouliagmeni area is beautiful. However, the lake itself is quite dirty, so we preferred crossing the road and going to the tavern and the beach there. Poseidon temple during sunset is a magical place. Before reaching it, Chris, our drivee and guide, stopped to tell us the story behind and it was very intriguing. All in all, great communication with support, with Chris, who took great care of us during our excursion. Thank you!

What to bring

Carry your own towel for Lake Vouliagmeni. Towels are available for rent on-site if needed.

Keep a valid photo ID handy in case it’s required to verify your booking at entry.

Set aside extra budget for meals, as well as entrance fees to Lake Vouliagmeni and the Temple of Poseidon (not included in the tour price).

Pack swimwear and a change of clothes if you plan to take a dip in the lake.

Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses are recommended, especially during warmer months.

Comfortable walking shoes are advised, as exploring the Temple of Poseidon involves some walking.
