Cruises in San Francisco

Did this with friends and it ended up being the best evening of our trip. The boat wasn’t crowded at all, so we had the rail to ourselves the whole time. Watching the skyline turn orange while going right under the Golden Gate was unreal, and Alcatraz was much closer than I expected. Bring a jacket, it gets cold fast once the sun drops.

The trip to Alcatraz was amazing. The Island alone is worth any visit and the boat ride was fantastic. The tour of Alcatraz puts the prisons from the past into a new perspective. It is not what we see today, these men were treated as the hardened criminals they were. I reccomend this trip to anyone going to San Francisco

What I enjoyed the most was the audio tour of the tour followed by the sightseeing of the island. I was supposed to do the tour in 2014 but due to the weather and the plane forced to land We where unable to do it .

This was an amazing cruise that highlighted some of my favorite spots in San Francisco. Anyone can drive over the Golden Gate, but it's something special to be able to be under it and to hear the natural noises it makes with all the cars crossing over whether you go when it's foggy clear day or night this is an amazing cruise.
