The crew on every part of this journey was insightful, funny and knowing. We have seen a lot of wildlife and experienced the soothing sounds of this place. On good weather you will see relaxing seals and maybe a hunting albatross. Unfortunately we only have seen a fin of a dolphin, but as always in the wilderness: It's up to luck.
I short: fully worth it!

Such a great experience being able to see the engine room. Plenty of different areas to sit and the cafe/bar served lovely dinks and food.

All fantastic. The smooth spin on the steamboat (from someone who suffers from travel sickness!) BBQ food was delicious and so well organised - no dash for the tables! Sheep shearing demo very informative. Highly recommend the day trip.

The views on this cruise were abolutely breathetaking, I sat on the top deck to really take it in. The visit to the farm was ideal as well, high tea offered many selections of bites and the animals were lovely to interact with. Knowledgable guide as well, Josh. Would recommend this to all visiting Queenstown!

Absolutely amazing! Breathtaking views!
You have to park a short walk from the check-in area and where the boat departs - about a 5 minute leisurely walk.
Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly.
The boat was small and personal which is exactly what we wanted. Free tea and coffee on board which was a lovely surprise. We were able to get up close to the seals and got a fresh spray from the waterfall (maybe more than a spray ahaha).
All in all excellent value for money, spectacular views and have full gratitude the weather was on our side for our party of 9 to appreciate this.

The catamaran ride to the farm and back offered the most stunning views of the mountains around the beautiful Lake Wakatipu. Walter Peak farm offered a sumptious, generous BBQ lunch, served by the friendliest staff.
I would never let bad weather stop me from doing such an outing. A real treat! The farm is geared for ALL ages and all weather conditions. The sheep 'show' was most informative.
The whole outing was most professionally run.
