  • Pro tip: For fewer crowds, consider weekday departures outside peak summer evenings and weekends.

Tips for an unforgettable Barcelona cruise

  • Arrive early: Get to Port Vell 15–20 minutes before departure so you can verify your boarding point and secure a preferred deck spot.
  • Dress in layers: Even sunny afternoons can turn breezy on open decks; a light jacket keeps you comfortable throughout the cruise.
  • Know your seating: Most boats use free seating, so be ready to claim the best view by arriving early at your chosen pontoon.
  • Capture golden moments: For stunning photos of Gaudí’s spires and the coastline, choose the bow or opt for a sunset cruise.
  • Book ahead: Popular sails, especially those with live music or a Cava toast at sunset, fill up fast—reserve your spot in advance.

The boat was pleasantly empty—there were only a few passengers at 11:30 a.m. It could have been a little longer, but it was still very nice.

The catamaran was big and smooth across the water. They even played an eagles song at half way! The price for the time was spot on. The only negative is there is no shade when waiting for the boat for the 30 minutes before at check in.
