Last week

The trip itself was amusing and interesting. The captain very professional and telling funny stories. The only issue I have is that; we were instructed by Headout to proceed to peer 6 at 14:00 hours to board the ship. When we came there at 13:55 it appeared the at peer 6 is only the office of the Barkassen-Meyer Touristik GmbH and we were immediatelly directed to run to peer 2 were the ship was waiting for us. We were just on time and a little out of breath when arriving to the ship.

The captain really made the tour unforgettable with his lively storytelling! We loved it! Unfortunately, no one checked our reservation, so instead of the XXL tour, we ended up on the 1-hour harbor cruise for two hours. It was nice, but we ended up paying too much!

The harbor tour was a very nice experience. The skipper provided a lot of professional information about the port and its surroundings. The container port was particularly interesting. Definitely a tour not to be missed in Hamburg.

We had specifically booked the harbor tour with Fleettour because we were particularly interested in it, but due to the tide, it wasn't possible.... otherwise we would have chosen a different time. The tour was still interesting and the trainee captain gave a great explanation.... but we had been looking forward to the canals
