Buying tickets on line avoided a long wait in the ticket purchase queue. The queue for the elevator was also very long so we climbed the stairs. It was actually fine as we stopped on each floor and took the time to look at the excellent displays. Good views from the top. Perhaps only criticism, while the numbers going up were being managed, there were still too many people inside. I'd recommend the total number allowed access at any given time be reduced.

We got there my husband said oh I don't want to stand in line and go out to the castle since there was so many people. It was cherry blossom season and all the cherry blossoms out in the soccer park. It's beautiful. Anyway, I noticed some people with a QR code and I asked and they said they booked them through you and I did it right there and you sent them to me within a minute and we win it with no problem. We skipped the line!

Smooth entry into the castle and skipped the very long line waiting to buy tickets. Lots of info of the history of Osaka castle with original letters sent between important historic figures. Only shame was once you reached the top they put a netting to obv prevent anyone from falling but it meant the pictures had a metal net in them. Beautiful surrounding park as well to fill your time!
