The exhibition was well presented, with interesting installations and informative descriptions that helped me understand the history behind the exhibits. The views from the top were absolutely stunning, and the entire place was clean and well maintained. The only thing I would change is the flow of visitors inside the castle. The crowds made it difficult to take my time and really soak up the historical atmosphere. A more organized visitor flow would make the experience much more enjoyable. It was great to be able to bypass the line and get in a line for the elevator to the 5th floor. Though you can always walk up to the 8th floor. That being said- I was disappointed with the Osaka Castle. I felt herded through. It was crowded so it was hard to view the exhibits. I would recommend the Nishinomaru Garden next door. It costs 300 yen. It's calm and gives opportunities to see the castle and sit and enjoy the surroundings.MMark B

We were able to go to the top of the tower on what I thought was a basic ticket and it covered going into the stone museum too. More display signs in English than expected, but it was the models that we both enjoyed most. Great choice on a wet morning.
