Great tour. Beautiful to see the vineyards and history of wine making in Portugal. Guide Licinio and driver Ana were great. Friendly, helpful and informative.

The tour was well organized, and everything went exactly as described. However, during the lunch stop, we noticed that all the raw meats were being handled with the same utensil, which greatly increases the risk of cross-contamination. A few hours after the tour, we began to experience abdominal pain and severe cramps. My wife and I were very sick all night. In addition, we met people at the hotel who were on the same tour as us, and they had the same gastrointestinal symptoms. We haven’t been able to leave our room since this morning, and my birthday has been completely ruined because of this incident. During the meal, we were served pork, ribs, and veal steak, and the veal was clearly undercooked—it was still bloody. This was in addition to improper handling during cooking. The day’s experience was otherwise good, but this unfortunate incident means I would not recommend this tour due to the discomfort we experienced that day and are still experiencing more than 24 hours after the meal. I would like to follow up with the customer satisfaction team. This is a serious situation, and I don’t want it to happen to others. Compensation for the inconvenience would be appreciated.

This Douro Valley wine tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Porto. The entire experience was well organized, the meeting point was easy to find, and booking through Headout was simple and hassle-free. Our guide, Cuber, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and kept us informed throughout the day. We learned so much about the history, traditions, and hard work behind the wines and ports of the Douro Valley. The lunch was absolutely delicious and prepared in a traditional Portuguese style over an open fire, which made the experience even more special. The wine tastings were excellent, and the scenery was breathtaking. Overall, this tour was worth every penny and is a must-do if you're visiting Porto. Highly recommended!

The tour was really interesting; we learned a lot of fascinating facts about the history of wine in Portugal. The guides were knowledgeable, and the food and wine were excellent—not to mention the fantastic playlist the driver put together.
