As a contemporary art enthusiast, this museum is well worth a visit. It offers free audio guides, a well-designed visitor flow, calming background music that enhances the experience, and friendly, welcoming staff. I would highly recommend stopping by if you’re exploring an area filled with museums. And if you’re looking for a museum that’s open on Mondays, this is definitely the place to go.

The app is perfect! Very intuitive and very fast! It saved me a few euros, which is significant for a family! Once you're there, there's no need to wait in line, the person just scans the QR code! I'll definitely be using the app again next time! Thank you, Headout!

Very interesting and fun museum! On display works by great contemporary artists like Banksy or Guillermo Lorca but also artists exponents of pop art like Andy Warhol, even some Dalí! Super enjoyable to visit! Plus the digital part is a very imersive experience and it was new to me. There is also one digital installation in particular that is interactive in which you can make your own contribution. I recommend visiting the museum!!!

Smart layout. Great exhibitions. Love the audio narration as well.
  • Why choose one art era when you can experience centuries in a single day? This combo blends the timeless genius of the Picasso Museum, the rebellious edge of the Moco Museum Barcelona, and the living history of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. And yes, it’s all within walking distance.

    Getting started

Arrive at your selected time slot and present your ticket at the entrance. Your skip-the-line access means you bypass the general queue and head straight inside. For the Gothic Quarter walking tour, meet your guide at Plaça Reial and show your booking confirmation to check in. At Moco Museum, head to the entrance and present your ticket for validation. Once inside, grab your audio guide and explore freely.

    What to expect

    Picasso Museum

Housed in interconnected medieval palaces, the Picasso Museum feels intimate yet immersive. With skip-the-line entry, you avoid the wait and dive straight into Picasso’s transformation from disciplined student to revolutionary master. Pair that with the guided Gothic Quarter walk, and you begin to understand how Barcelona’s streets shaped the artist’s imagination. Expect depth, storytelling, and serious artistic evolution.

    Highlights:

    • Las Meninas series: Watch Picasso deconstruct Velázquez’s masterpiece in bold, playful reinterpretations that feel daring even today.

    • Early academic works: Created when he was still a teenager, these pieces showcase astonishing technical mastery and hint at the genius to come.

    • Gothic Quarter walking tour: On your guided walk, you don’t just pass monuments, you decode them. Expect political intrigue, Roman leftovers hiding in plain sight, and medieval power moves that shaped the city long before Picasso ever picked up a brush.

    Moco Museum

Located in the vibrant El Born district, Moco Museum brings a completely different energy. Think bold statements, contemporary icons, and art that sparks conversation. With your audio guide, you move through the galleries at your own pace while getting context behind the works. It’s modern, immersive, and refreshingly untraditional.

    Highlights:

    • Banksy collection: Satirical, provocative, and instantly recognizable. These works challenge politics, society, and everything in between with razor-sharp wit.

    • Andy Warhol pieces: Pop culture meets fine art in bright, iconic visuals that feel playful but carry serious commentary.

    • Jean-Michel Basquiat's works: Raw, expressive, and unapologetically powerful. Basquiat’s pieces radiate energy and emotional intensity.
