We had the experience while the sun was setting and to look at the city from above at night. Fortunately, we didn't have to queue. The view from the KL Tower is astonishing. In total we were almost 2 hours on the viewing platform and enjoyed it very much. The description, what is included, is in my opinion a little misleadingly written. "Entry to Skybox" apparently only means that you can enter by means of a ticket, which can be purchased separately on site at the observation deck. We have decided not to buy this separately, because the view and the possibility to take photos are also very good anyway. I would like to point out that the lighting on the way to the parking lot is unfortunately not sufficient and suggest that the stairs be better marked or illuminated. The last step of a section was not recognisable because of the darkness and the scarce light, which is why my boyfriend sprained his ankle. This has nothing to do with our experience at the tower in and of itself, but perhaps this should be taken into account and implemented for the future.Jonathan

The tower walk is a great experience, you get a good view walking round, you are secure in the harness but as there is no barrier you do get the sense you are free walking high up. I loved it when you walked on the glass section with the sensors so it sounds like the glass is cracking, glad I did this but was over way to soonNurul

The fact that I can explore everything inside the room with only low fare, it's amazing. I don't need to spend more than fifty ringgit to enter. And the place is spacious! With many incredible, fun and fictional things inside. I would rather bring my family from any ages here rather than other expensive places as they also provide cafe inside this place. I am more than satisfied!Jurini

This combo is for anyone who loves the thrill of sky-high city views and the spark of hands-on science.
KL Tower
Start at KL Tower, where Kuala Lumpur’s skyline unfolds from the Observation Deck and open-air Sky Deck. If you’re up for it, take on Tower Walk 100, an edge-walk around the tower’s exterior. You’re 300 meters up, and the view doesn’t get much closer.
Petrosains, The Discovery Centre
Then, switch gears at Petrosains. With 11 interactive exhibits, science comes to life here. The Dark Ride takes you on a slow roll through Malaysia’s natural landscapes. Nano World reveals molecules up close, while the F1 simulator lets you hit the tracks at high speed. In the Space exhibit, test out NASA-inspired tech and try programming a Mars Rover. Petrosains is where science goes from textbook to touchable, and there’s always something new to try.
