Such a loving, personal, and insightful tour of this opera house and its history. Definitely worth seeing—even for children and teens. It’s pleasantly cool in the summer and very entertaining at 45 minutes. We didn’t take advantage of the 3-euro additional fee for taking photos.

We had booked tickets for the guided tour of the Semper Opera House on July 31, 2026, at the very last minute. The friendly lady was very knowledgeable, the tour was very thorough, and we made good use of our time. The interior of the Semper Opera House was very beautiful and impressive.

A really great tour—the guide was perfect. There were photos on the tablet to help illustrate the tour. The tour through the entire house, followed by a discussion in the best spots (see photo), was perfect. Great value for the price!

A very good guide who explained the Semperoper through many anecdotes. Despite the construction work, we were able to tour many areas and were also glad to have a pleasant 60-minute break from the heat, as the temperature outside was 35 degrees.

The tour of the Semperoper was very interesting. We learned a great deal. The most interesting part was seeing how the auditorium transformed into the ballroom for the Opera Ball.
