With the map for public transport in Barcelona, you can really get anywhere without having to worry about traffic. With the help of Google Maps, we knew which bus or train line to take. But at least the metro network is easy to navigate. We picked up our three-day pass at the tourist information office in Placa Catalunya without any problems. However, another address given for collection, Placa Catalunya 7, is a bank building. We drove all over Barcelona in the three days and visited all the sights. Highly recommended for stress-free trips through the city.

The online booking of the 5-day ticket for local public transport via headout was extremely uncomplicated, quick and smooth. Picking it up at the service counter at the airport went without a hitch. During our stay, we were able to use the ticket flexibly on five days - on the metro, train and bus - without any restrictions. The price/performance ratio is very good, especially for intensive use. We bought the HolaBarcelonaTravelCard for our five-day stay in Barcelona online beforehand and collected it from the Tourist Info at the airport after arriving in Barcelona. I DO NOT recommend buying the card online I repeat "do not recommend" because to get the card to use on transportation you have to GO to some tourism offices located near the tourist attractions, I for example showed the purchase email at the tourism office in front of the Sagrada Familia. This is because the automatic machines do not allow you to get the card, I tried but could not find and onserve the code it was asking for. But then they confirmed to me at the tuistico office that the conversion can only be done by them which is ABSURD because in any automatic machine present in the subway entrances can buy the multiday card conveniently paying with their bank cards. Finally, the concierge at my hotel told me that at the machines you could do the conversion.

Highly recommended. You can get your purchase activated right away at the airport. We had a ticket for 4 days. We mainly used the metro for transportation from the airport to the hotel and also back. In between you can use this card to go anywhere in Barcelona you want to go. For 34 euros pp I find that really very little money.

Each pass provides unlimited journeys on public transport in Barcelona for consecutive periods of 2 days (48 hrs), 3 days (72 hrs), 4 days (96 hrs) or 5 days (120 hrs) from the time it is first validated and at any time of day.

Please note that the reservation is valid for 90 calendar days from the date of purchase, until the last day of February of the following year at the latest.

The pass cannot be used by another person.
