We enjoyed touring around, first with the gray line - red line (note: the same red hop-on hop-off bus also runs with yellow letters, and you should NOT take that one, even though they stop at exactly the same stops). The explanations were excellent, also in Dutch. We will NEVER forget 1755... very sorry for all the Lisboas at the time. Later, we took the blue line (nice and long) and walked back up to the center, panting, rewarded with some wine, beer, and tasty fish snacks while listening to the cozy, melodious Fado of Ana Moura. And then, together with my beloved, we ordered a nice aged Tawny port 20 to warmly conclude this balmy spring evening.

Only one weekend available... too little time to visit such a big city, but thanks to this bus network, we were able to use three lines (blue, red, and yellow) in one day, getting on and off as we pleased to visit and photograph the main attractions.

Very comprehensive itineraries, some buses with the audio media not working properly limiting my listening to the explanation of the main points of Lisbon and the driver of the last bus we used, at the end of the day, perhaps due to the heavy traffic in some points drove very fast leaving us apprehensive at times! In any case, it was a worthwhile experience!

We took the Hop-on and Hop-off bus tour in Lisbon. We decided it was a perfect way to view the city and learn history. The city is fascinating with architeture from thousands of years ago to modern daylbuildings. The bus drivers and attendants were very helpful in learning how the buses work. We took 2 back to back routes on a very wet afternoon. The rain didn't really take away from what we were able to see on the 'green' route. Lovely quaint part of Lisbon. Saw a few family tile businesses, mostly winding streets which our driver managed like a pro! So glad we went, despite the down pour!
