The commentary was fantastic. I also loved that, unlike other boat tour companies, there was live commentary and that it addressed the queer memorial on Magnus-Hirschfeld-Ufer as well as Berlin's queer history!!!

We arrived early at the departure point and were able to rebook on the spot to an earlier boat so we didn't have to wait so long. That was very nice. You could get something to eat and drink on the boat. A young man guided us through the tour in German and English, providing great information. When it started to rain a bit, a roof was slid over the guests. You could still see everything well. I can recommend the "carola" and "Franziska" for a tour. The crew was very nice.

It was well organized, the tour guide was charming and knowledgeable. We enjoyed a glass of wine and a beer served by the cruise bar staff who were fantastic. The cruise is definitely worth experiencing as you get to see and learn about Berlin from a unique view. After the cruise, we were inspired to walk along the river and find some of the restaurants we saw while on board. It was a great experience, I would recommend it.

Wheelchair users are asked to contact the museum beforehand in order to access the side entrance. The majority of the permanent exhibition allows barrier-free access.
