We really enjoyed these two experiences. Our guide for Uffizi, Giovanna, was incredible. She was extremely knowledgeable and took great care of us. We suggest you do these two things separately because we wanted to spend more time with Giovanna and had to leave early to get to see David. We could have spent all day with Giovanna.

We had a little problem with the lack of a guide for the academy gallery but finally it was solved. Pamela made it spectacular. Regarding the Uffizi, everything was perfect Aurora was amazing and on top of that we were almost alone in the gallery. It is highly recommended to enjoy these experiences with guides.

There are 2 lines. The 1 has frequent busses, and the other not. I was aware of it before hand, so we made sure that we knew exactly where and when the bus would stop. Unfortunately it was quite crowded at the bus stop, and the driver stopped without opening the doors. We waved our arms, and tried to get their attention. But they just rode off. So we could only use 50% of our ticket. That was disappointing.
