The Oceanogràfic of Valencia is simply crazy how well done it is. From the moment you enter you notice that everything works: impeccable facilities, very clean aquariums, visible and active animals, huge spaces and curated to the smallest detail. There were so many people, families, couples, tourists from all over the world, and yet it never felt chaotic: everything was perfectly organized, fluid, almost elegant. That alone says a lot about the level of the place. What makes it really memorable is how it manages to move you: watching sharks pass by just a few centimeters away, being mesmerized by the jellyfish, observing the beluga whales in an almost religious silence, while all around there are people with their mouths open like you. It is one of those places where you understand that you are watching something special, something made with respect, passion and a brutal attention to every detail. It's fucking well cared for, and it shows in every nook and cranny. It's not just an aquarium: it's an experience that sticks with you. The Valencia Oceanogràfic is a truly magical place. From the first moment you are catapulted into a fascinating world, where young and old can marvel at the beauty of the sea and its inhabitants. The tanks allow you to observe incredible species up close: from sharks to dolphins to colorful tropical fish. It is an immersive and relaxing experience at the same time, capable of making one forget the passing of time and bringing back the wonder typical of childhood. Perfect for families, couples or anyone who feels like dreaming a little. Absolutely recommended!

The oceanografic is crazy!!! You cannot call it just an aquarium, that would be to discredit it! We entered right away at 10am (on a Saturday morning, of a weekend full of people because of the marathon and other events) and until 11-11.30am walking around the spaces was livable, then the world came in and it was hard to make room for ourselves. However, we left at 2 pm happy and satisfied 😁 We bought tickets online, if you buy on the spot you have to wait in line at the ticket office and then you new at the entrance.

A magical place where science, nature and the preservation of the ocean ecosystem combine to provide an experience full of surprises, emotions and special moments. I really liked this place not only because they exhibit amazing species from different oceans and ecosystems, but mainly for the fact that they have their research team that reincorporates animals to their habitats, studies different species, preserves and protects the oceans, for me this is what has the most impact.

Valencia cannot miss a stop at the Oceanografic! It was an enchanting experience from start to finish. Meticulous attention to detail, friendly and polite staff, refreshment areas and a focus on the environment and respect for the fascinating beings of the seas/oceans.
