A fantastic experience, though perhaps a bit too ambitious given how much there is to see. I’ve visited several aquariums before, including those in Genoa, Italy, and Sydney, Australia, but the Oceanogràfic managed to offer something new. It was pretty crowded, even though it was a Monday. The Space section of the Science Museum is extremely interesting; it deserved more time. Futuristic architectural structures. Take your time and explore at a leisurely pace!

Our family and I absolutely loved the show at the Hemsfèric, the animals at Oceanografic, and everything we learned at the Science Museum. The combined ticket from HeadOut was a great deal and worked out perfectly. Plus, they let us use our Hemsfèric ticket for a later show because we didn’t make it in time for the one we’d originally bought.

The place is very well laid out, has signs to guide visitors, and offers some really cool shows. You can tell how much care and dedication goes into looking after the animals, which are in excellent condition and well cared for.

The Hemisferic and the Oceanographic Museum were the highlights. The Science Museum was a bit less so—maybe because we were tired, or maybe because it was hard to grasp right away. It’s still worth a visit, though! What I’d really like are some directions on how to get around. Great!

The aquarium was incredible. I loved the immense variety of Jelly Fish, and especially walking underneath the shark and fish tank through the glass tunnels, which made you feel like you were in the tank with the sea creatures.

All three venues are excellent and offer a wealth of educational content. At the Oceanogràfic, for example, there is very comprehensive information about each species—its origin, diet, size, and characteristics—which allows for a deep learning experience. In addition, the dolphin show is not just entertainment but an educational experience where you can observe interaction with the animals in a respectful and natural way. At the Hemisfèric, we enjoyed a very educational film, and the venue is very well maintained, which adds a lot to the experience. However, at the Science Museum, we found some areas for improvement. Several of the interactive machines were not working, which limits the experience, especially considering that it is a space designed for learning through interaction. It would be important for these to be repaired and kept in good condition. We also believe there should be greater staff supervision regarding the use of these facilities, as misuse—especially by children—can sometimes lead to damage. When you pay for the experience, you expect to be able to enjoy it fully, and this wasn’t always possible. Another area for improvement is the organization of the museum tour. The pavilions are numbered, but it is unclear whether they follow a logical order, and their layout can be confusing. Some are quite far apart, which wastes time looking for them. Better signage or a reorganization of the tour would greatly help make the experience more seamless. Despite these details, the three spaces as a whole are excellent. It’s a very comprehensive package that allows visitors to enjoy different experiences related to science, the environment, and our role on the planet. Without a doubt, it’s a highly recommended visit for those who value learning and connecting with the world around us.

The aquarium is laid out very nicely and the exhibits were nice. We felt the IMax was a little disappointing. The audio headsets were uncomfortable and hard to hear the commentary. The entire arts complex is fantastic with great architecture.

The aquarium is indescribable—(you’ll find animals from the North Pole to the South Pole, the tanks are huge, and the tunnel where sharks swim right above you is truly unique)—you have to go. But be sure to check the dolphin show times and the feeding times for the various animals; ask at the info point for these schedules!!!You can only enter the dolphin area at certain times, and spots are limited; we managed to catch the beluga feeding time. I don’t recommend buying the tickets together (aquarium, museum, and Hemispheres)—buy them separately at the entrance to each attraction! The museum is very interesting; my recommendation is to set aside one day for the museum and one for the aquarium!
