The number of museums, so you can also see things that you wouldn't have had on your agenda and then experience one or two positive surprises. The Krakow Underground and the Archaeological Museum are particularly well prepared! to improve: Some of the museums did not know whether they were included in the pass or not. The code reading machines often didn't work, the staff often didn't know how to use them outside the norm. They didn't know that you can switch the long device to a different mode that can also read QR codes and not the usual barcodes! That's why I had to argue at almost every museum, the worst was at Schindler's Factory (which is generally very poorly organized and structured!) In the end, with effort, explanation and friendly conversation, we got in everywhere we wanted to go. It would therefore be important to provide the barcode as well as the QR code! Also a small digital folder with the museums that are included, as otherwise you often get lost and then don't go there again!

  • What to bring

    • Carry a valid photo ID, as some museums may require it for ticket verification or discounts.

    • Many museums, such as Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory, have extensive exhibits that involve considerable walking. Wear your most comfortable, closed shoes.

    What’s not allowed

    • Most museums prohibit large bags or suitcases. The Czartoryski Museum permits small bags but restricts large backpacks and suitcases.

    • While photography might be permitted, the use of flash and tripods is often restricted.

    • Food and beverages are not allowed within the exhibition areas to preserve the exhibits.

    Accessibility

    • Most museums are wheelchair accessible. The Kraków National Museum is equipped with exterior and interior lifts, wheelchair lifts, and portable rails, while MOCAK offers level thresholds, wide doors, and accessible restrooms.

    • The Kraków Ethnographic Museum has visitor paths for those with visual impairments and collaborates with Polish sign language translators. Oskar Schindler's Factory offers audio descriptions and sign language translations for selected exhibits.
