The overall package for the hop on hop off bus was definitely worth the price! We actually did not use the bus because of the timing of it and us potentially missing our ticket times for the Acropolis and Parthenon. We also did the Cape Sounion and Temple of Poseidon tour with it, which was 1.5 hour of bus travel there and back which was long but it gave a view of the area which we would not have seen otherwise and we know we would have never made it out to that site, which was incredible. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is that the tickets to the Temple of Poseidon were not included, so you had to buy them separate when you got there.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had some mistakes in my booking, and honestly I was worried things wouldn’t get fixed. But the customer care team went above and beyond to help me. A special thanks to Duygu, who was incredibly patient and solved the issues with my Acropolis and Agora tickets, and to Batuhan, who stepped in to clarify and assist me with my Hop-On Hop-Off booking. Both of them showed professionalism, kindness, and great communication throughout the process. Thanks to their support, I was able to enjoy my trip stress-free. Truly excellent customer service!

MegaPass is great deal plus they organise everything for you. I was curious if you would get better price if you order it without Headout but you would get about the same price just for the tours and Acropolis tickets plus you get hop-on bus (which saved our day). It is arranged through thrustworthy Greece agency and you will really enjoy your stay in Athens. I would deeply recommended if you want to get most of the holiday. Also support worked very well.

We took a Mega Pass and got the most out of it. Acropolis and its museum, give yourself a half a day each for these two. Both were amazing. We also went to Cape Sounion for sunset, well worth it we took some great photos. Weather mixed also visited Delphi. The Delphi trip is a full day but again worth it. Great value although you will need to pay additional entry costs into the Temple of Poseidon and Delphi.

Well worth the money, that enables you to seamlessly access all the major sites in Athens, without having to queue too long. Really enjoyed the experience, but next time I'll give myself a bit longer to enjoy everything as I was against the clock.

  • Explore Athens with one flexible pass that combines skip-the-line access, audio tours, transport, and data into a single, hassle-free package.

    Pocket-friendly exploration

The Athens MegaPass is a smart, cost-effective way to see the city’s most famous landmarks and unique experiences in one go. All passes include skip-the-line entry to the Acropolis & Parthenon with an immersive audio tour, plus your choice of 1, 2, or 3 additional attractions depending on whether you pick the Classic, Premium, or Deluxe option. With a flexible 7-day validity, you can explore at your own pace, whether that’s catching the sunset at the Temple of Poseidon or connecting ruins to artifacts in Athens’ top museums. Compared to buying tickets individually, the MegaPass delivers substantial savings, greater freedom, and a hassle-free way to experience Athens.

    Effortless travel & connectivity

Every MegaPass includes a 2-day hop-on hop-off bus tour with four interconnected routes through Athens, Piraeus, Glyfada, and Vouliagmeni. It’s the easiest way to move between ancient sites, coastal neighborhoods, and the city center without worrying about taxis or transport planning. To make things even smoother, you’ll also get 3 GB of eSIM mobile data, so you can stay online, check maps, use your audio tours, get local tips, and share your trip—all without roaming fees or SIM swaps.

    Seamless activation

No paper tickets, no waiting in line.

    • After booking, you’ll get an email to select your attractions and time slots where required (like the Acropolis).

    • Once confirmed, your digital tickets arrive instantly by email. Simply scan them from your phone at each entrance and start exploring right away.

    • The MegaPass activates on the date of your first visit and stays valid for 7 consecutive days, giving you plenty of flexibility to plan your Athens adventure your way.

  • What to bring

    • Carry a valid photo ID or passport for entry verification and to access any reduced or free admission benefits where applicable.

    • Download your audio tours in advance and make sure your phone is charged to avoid connectivity issues on-site.

    • Pack your own earphones for a smoother experience with the self-guided audio tours included in the pass.

    • Take along some cash or a bank card for souvenirs, snacks, or refreshments at museum cafés and local kiosks.

    • Wear sturdy, comfortable walking shoes to handle the Acropolis’ marble steps, rocky terrain, and long walks during day trips.

    • Bring a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the strong Mediterranean sun while exploring outdoor sites.

    • If joining a full-day trip (Delphi or Corinth), bring a small day bag with snacks, water, and essentials for comfort.

    What's not allowed

    • Flash photography, tripods, drones, and professional filming equipment are not permitted at the Acropolis or inside the Acropolis Museum.

    • Large backpacks, suitcases, or bulky bags cannot be brought into the Acropolis or Museum and must be left in designated cloakrooms.

    • Food and drinks, apart from plain bottled water, are not allowed inside the Acropolis Museum or archaeological sites.

    • Pets are not permitted at the Acropolis or Museum, except certified guide dogs and service animals.

    • Smoking and chewing gum are strictly prohibited within the Acropolis site and museum premises.

    • Climbing or touching ancient monuments, sculptures, or architectural remains is forbidden to protect their preservation.

    • For bus and day trips, open containers of food and alcohol are generally not allowed onboard.

    Accessibility

    • The Acropolis Museum is fully wheelchair accessible, with step-free entrances, elevators to every floor, and accessible restrooms throughout the building.

    • Free wheelchairs are available to borrow at the museum’s Information Desk, and Braille guides in Greek and English are offered for visitors with visual impairments.

    • The Acropolis has limited accessibility for visitors with mobility challenges. While there is an elevator near the South Slope entrance, its operation is managed entirely by the venue and may not always be available. Contact the site a day before your visit at +30 210 3214172 or +30 210 9238470 to confirm availability.

    • Both the visitor and one escort are eligible for free admission to the Acropolis when presenting valid disability documentation.

    • Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available near the Acropolis Museum and at the main entrances to the site.

    • The hop-on hop-off bus included in the pass is equipped with wheelchair-accessible seating and ramps, though availability may vary depending on the line and vehicle.

    • Day trips such as Delphi or Corinth are not fully wheelchair accessible due to uneven ground at these archaeological sites.

    Additional information

    • Choose Classic for 1 extra attraction, Premium for 2, or Deluxe for 3, and see more of Athens while saving on entry. See the full list of attractions here.

    • Your MegaPass becomes active on the start date you choose and stays valid for 7 consecutive days, giving you the freedom to explore at your own pace.

    • The 2-day hop-on hop-off bus ticket starts from your first ride and remains valid for two full consecutive days across all available routes.

    • The pass can only be used once per attraction and is non-transferable after activation.

    • Some attractions, including the Acropolis, require a reserved date and entry time; booking early is strongly advised, especially during the busy summer months, between June and August.

    • Select day tours, such as the Temple of Poseidon, Delphi, and Ancient Corinth, have separate on-site entry fees that are not included in the pass.

    • Audio guides are offered in five languages and can be downloaded directly to your phone.

    • Please note that while the experience is available from 9am to 6pm, time slots are allocated by the local partner. Same-day availability for Parthenon tickets is limited and cannot be guaranteed, so it's recommended to book in advance.

    • Please display your mobile pass with a valid photo ID at the redemption point.

    • After booking, you will receive an email with a link to select your preferred attractions and visit dates to create your E-pass.

    • Once you confirm your choices, your tickets will be sent to you via email.

    • You can redeem your pass by simply showing it at the entrance of each attraction to enter.
