Live Shows & Entertainment

If you're not one for high-energy activities like rides, you have the option of attending one of the many live shows happening in the park. WaterWorld is a popular live show that happens daily at The Lost World zone; be prepared for some spills while you're there. Other shows to check out are the Donkey Live and of course the meet and greets with characters from The Mummy, Minions, Sesame Street and other fantastic shows and movies.

Themed Zones

Each of the six zones of Universal Studios Singapore is made to transport you to a different period in time or even a different world. An absolute must-visit! Sci-Fi City and Ancient Egypt are the GOATs for thrills—Human vs. Cylon and Revenge of the Mummy are worth the wait alone. If you’re with family, Minion Land and Far Far Away (specifically Puss in Boots) are pure magic. Don’t miss the Raptor Encounter in The Lost World to see Blue, and definitely try to talk to Megatron at the Transformers meet & greet—he is hilarious! For a break from the heat, the Lights, Camera, Action! show in New York is a fascinating look at movie magic. 10/10 experience!

There was a problem wirh our tocket at the gate but staff worked quickly and let us through. We enjoyed the sealion show and the exhibits were clean and well maintained for animals. Monkeys were a bit bold. Be wary.

I chose the Headout special for Singapore Zoo because it offered better-value combo tickets, mobile entry, and included tram/shuttle options that made the visit smoother and less tiring. The highlights were the easy, queue-free entry with e-tickets, convenient tram rides around the large grounds, and spending time near the free-ranging orangutans and other animals in naturalistic rainforest-style habitats, which created the most memorable moments of the day.

Such a beautiful experience. Our family were exhausted on the day I had originally booked for but thankfully the tickets were flexible so we were able to attend the flyer a few days later. The view is beyond stunning, the capsules are comfortably airconditioned and spacious, and the ride is the perfect amount of time to see and experience Singapore's views. We went in the evening, the queues were minimal, & the time capsule before entering is fun and interactive for kids and adults alike. I would have loved the photo taken by the attraction but S$75 or $85AUD was extremely overpriced compared to many other attractions in the area. No worry though fellow tourists are always around to help out with photos. Don't visit Singapore without doing the flyer.

The big draw right now is the new Minion Land. If you have kids, you’ll spend half your day here. Despicable Me Minion Mayhem is a classic, but the new Buggie Boogie carousel is surprisingly cute. The Minion Marketplace is a trap for your wallet. The exclusive merch is hard to resist, but the store gets incredibly crowded by mid-afternoon. Battlestar Galactica (Human vs. Cylon): Still the king of the park. Note that it’s actually two separate coasters. Cylon is the inverted one and much more intense. Revenge of the Mummy: Still the best-themed indoor coaster. It’s a great way to escape the sun for 20 minutes. Transformers The Ride: Even after all these years, the 3D tech holds up. It’s the one ride everyone rushes to first, so maybe save it for the "lunch lull" or right before closing.
