Woke up crazy early with my girlfriend for this tour and honestly it was SO worth it. Our guide (shout out to Marco!) was suuuper friendly and dropped a ton of facts about Etna that I totally didn’t know. Kinda chilly at the top, so bring extra layers, trust me! The whole group felt like a little volcano family by the end. Hike was tough but views = EPIC.

Went solo and was a bit nervous but everyone (staff + group) made me feel welcome. The wind was wild, so we couldn’t go all the way up, but the alternative route had those steamy vents everywhere (smells like eggs, lol). Guide explained everything in simple terms. A bit crowded at the start, but once we spread out it was peaceful.

Booked this for my partner’s birthday and it was a solid pick. The 4x4 bus ride up was a wild start—my partner loved it, I was a little nervous (heights aren’t my fav). Once we started hiking, though, it was all good vibes. Learned a lot about lava flows and geology. Would recommend, just wish the weather was a bit clearer.

We did the sunrise tour and I can’t even explain how magical it was. The light over the mountains? Unreal. Our guide, Giovanni, was super knowledgeable and patient with my dad (who’s not the fastest climber). Big plus: the guide switched between Italian and English so everyone understood. Bring gloves—the rocks are SHARP.

Crazy cool experience!! Went with a group of friends and laughed the whole way up. The air up there is sooo fresh, you feel alive. Guides gave us helmets and walking sticks, which felt a bit overkill at first but definitely needed when we hit the loose ash. Our shoes are still kinda black, lol. Totally worth the mess.

I dragged my two teens here and they grumbled at first but actually ended up loving the hike! Our guide, Francesca, kept everyone engaged, made us laugh, and even let my daughter try walking with her trekking poles for a bit. Weather was chilly but clear so we got those insane crater views. 10/10 mom win!
