A dazzling first experience! It all started with the warm welcome. Then, exploring the quarry was a moment of pure joy for my partner and me. We were enchanted by the chance to wander freely among the images projected all around us, set against an extraordinary backdrop and accompanied by a soundtrack that perfectly complemented the projections.

The digital art light show was fantastic, 360 degree light and colours moving against the white limestone walls, ceiling and floor carved out of the mountainous hilltop outside Les Baux...we saw the art of Picasso and Frida Kahlo. Les Baux itself is a fabulous medieval village to visit, don't miss the Carrière de Lumieres

With tickets already purchased, entry was a breeze. Plenty of restrooms (which is a must after a 2- or 3-hour trip). Beautiful, well-maintained quarries. The video projection and music were superb. Definitely worth a return visit.

Since we bought our tickets online, we were able to get in very quickly and easily. You’re immediately immersed in the experience, and the projections on the walls are spectacular, accompanied by music. All you have to do is sit back and let yourself be carried away by the various scenes. It was a very enjoyable afternoon—one we’d definitely do again without hesitation.

This is a must-see! The sheer scale of the walls, combined with the projections, transports us right into the artists’ paintings. I’ve visited several exhibitions of this kind—including some in Montreal—and the one at the Carrières de Lumières is truly exceptional.
