Meet your tour guide and stroll into the historic heart of medieval Brussels, Grand Place. Thanks to its eclectic blend of architectural styles (Baroque, Gothic, and Louis XIV), the square has earned itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site tag. Your guide will tell you all about Brussels' rich heritage as you walk around.

Next, climb aboard a luxurious coach to tour the city's top highlights. The first of these is St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral. This 11th-century church was rebuilt in the Brabant Gothic-style and resembles the Notre-Dame of Paris. See the Justice Palace, reputed to be the largest building constructed in the 19th century. The building offers a splendid panoramic view of Brussels. Your guide will then walk you up to the Royal Palace. This is where the king welcomes other heads of state and conducts official events. Pass by Laeken Palace, the official residence of the king of the Belgians and the royal family.

See the European Parliament building, where elected representatives and their aides all have permanent offices. Continue onwards to the 15th-century church of Notre Dame du Sablon, or the Church of Our Blessed Lady of the Sablon. Legend has it that a young girl from Antwerp had a vision that the Virgin Mary asked her to take her image to Brussels. The girl boarded a boat to the capital and handed a statue of the Virgin to the archer’s temple. The chapel soon became a place of pilgrimage and as a course of this, was enlarged. From here, head over to your last stop for the day: the Atomium. Built for the Brussels World’s Fair in 1958, the Atomium is an iron crystal cell, magnified 165 billion times its normal size. It is often considered as a fusion of sculpture and architecture.
