What to expect
Tivoli Gardens
Opened in 1843, Tivoli Gardens is one of the world’s oldest amusement parks, celebrated for its blend of classic rides and manicured gardens. The park’s unique charm has delighted visitors for generations, including author Hans Anderson.

Unlimited ride access: Enjoy as many rides as you like, from family favourites like the Flying Trunk, a storytelling ride through Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytales, to the dizzying Vertigo, voted Europe’s Best Ride in 2014. (Note: Seasonal rides not included)

What to bring

Bring your ticket (to be bought separately) and scan it at the self-service machine in the Gardens to obtain your Ride Pass.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes; bare feet and bare upper bodies are not permitted.

Consider bringing your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, which can be enjoyed in designated garden areas and on benches.
What’s not allowed

Bicycles, mopeds, roller skates, skateboards, scooters, alcoholic beverages, weapons, and drugs are not permitted inside the Gardens.

Due to venue restrictions, your pets are not allowed, except your dogs during the annual "Dogs' Day" event.

Smoking and e-cigarettes are only permitted in designated smoking zones.

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed on rides; cloakroom and lockers are available for storage.

Littering, vandalism, and picking flowers or plants are strictly prohibited.

Erecting placards, distributing brochures, agitation, and political propaganda are not allowed.

Eating, drinking, and smoking are not allowed on rides.

Loose objects must not be taken onto rides.

Tivoli Gardens is a pedestrian area and is accessible for visitors with functional impairments; both electric and manual wheelchairs are permitted.

Accessible restrooms are available at multiple locations throughout the Gardens, including by the Pantomime Theatre, Baby Changing Room (Rasmus Klump’s World), Glass Hall Theatre, and Tivoli Concert Hall.

Your Ride Pass is valid for unlimited rides for one person on the selected date; certain seasonal rides and attractions (such as Haunted House and Villa Vendetta during Halloween) are not included.

Children under 1 year do not need a Ride Pass and may try rides when accompanied by a paying individual over 14 years of age, subject to ride-specific safety and height requirements.

Follow all posted guidelines and instructions from Tivoli staff, especially regarding ride safety and queuing.

If you leave Tivoli and wish to return the same day, you must exit through Tivoli Food Hall and obtain a re-entry stamp from the guard; re-entry may not be possible during major events.
