Aug 20265/5Longest day ever but SO worth it! We all got up at, like, 4:30 (ouch) but seeing elephants right by the road shook me awake. Our guide, Isaac, was super chill and somehow spotted a cheetah hiding in the grass. Lunch was this big picnic by a lake with monkeys lurking (watch ur chips). Weather was chilly at first but got warm fast. Bring sunscreen! The drive back felt endless but I literally dreamed about giraffes all night. My son is obsessed now.Aug 20265/5Longest day ever but SO worth it! We all got up at, like, 4:30 (ouch) but seeing elephants right by the road shook me awake. Shoutout to guide Peter for all the random animal facts (he’s got a joke for every bird). Only thing – looong wait to get into the park so maybe bring snacks. Would go again just for the sunset, truly EPIC colors.Aug 20264/5Went solo on the tour (bit nervous tbh) but everyone was so friendly! The hippos were so close I could see their teeth (kinda scary lol). Guide Thabo was a LEGEND. He made sure we all got good pics. Lunch wasn’t fancy but filling. Weather was perfect, sunny but not roasting. FYI—can’t take pics in the visitor center for some reason? Anyway, 10/10.
