Big Bus: Paris Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour with Optional Seine River Cruise

We left it too late to purchase elevator tickets for the Eiffel Tower and fortunately we found this Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour + Eiffel Tower Guided Tour with Summit Floor Access. The Big Bus Tour took us to all the main sites of Paris, without confusing us with different zones, routes or anything like that. We booked 48-hour access and used it to get around the city for the weekend we were there. They had a great app which showed all the stops and where all the bus were at all times, and we never had to wait more than 10 minutes to get on a bus, even at the busiest sites. The Eiffel Tower Guided Tour was fantastic. My partner and I met our guide a short walk from the Eiffel Tower on Av. de la Bourdonnais. The guide had very good English and gave us a lot of information about the history of the tower, its surroundings and the evolving Parisien opinions of it. He then ensured a quick and efficient entry through the tower security and into the elevator which took us to the second floor. He then guided us to the elevators to the summit, where he left us to explore for ourselves.

When you've never been to a city before it's hard to find the first stop. This happened in both Singapore and Paris. The hotel receptions were unable to help. Perhaps your maps of the city could be left at the reception of all the major hotels.

Very nice route with a great audio guide, you could learn a lot about the sights and also a lot about Paris.
