No words to explain the experience u get travelling on the Bernina! Certainly lives up to the hype of traversing through the alps on the iconic train! Gives u the opportunity to get down and play in the snow or indulge in winter sports!! Tickets to travel on the bernina get exhausted very fast if u don't book it in advance!! While the parent website and many other sites did not show availability, I was able to secure tickets for my family through Headout!! Many many thanks for this and made the trip wholly memorable!!

I took a trip from Chur to Saint Moritz to Tirano on the Bernina red line - not the Bernina express but from what I can see, equally as impressive. The train was 10-15% capacity in January and I had so much space to move around the train. The windows lowered from inside the cabin to capture pictures and take in the breathtaking views. Staff were friendly, train was clean and the world heritage accreditation is an understatement. What an incredibly journey and experience.

100% worth it. In my opinion, my family and I enjoyed this train more than the Bernina Express. The ability to roll the windows down was an extreme game changer. Better pictures, videos, and able to stick your head out to feel the real Alpine air was amazing. The views on this route were second to none and all the train attendants were extremely nice. Would recommend this train to anyone who's looking for a once in a lifetime experience.

At first, I didn't understand why the train wasn't called Bernina, but my misunderstanding didn't last long. The train is perfect!!! I bought first class tickets and it was worth every penny. We practically had the carriage to ourselves (we are a family of four) and the scenery was wonderful! It was indescribable to see everything covered in snow! It was also very punctual on departure and arrival. I took it from St. Moritz to Tirano and it was perfect.

The organizers (including ticket re-sellers, ticket sellers, station and train staff, tourist information point staff) work very well and manage to make this trip something unique. This experience must be lived, not heard or seen in pictures. It must be seen with your own eyes, not with someone else's. It must be felt by you, not read how someone else felt it. I encourage everyone to have this experience.

It was pretty free on the first day of the year. We chose our seats. Attention: 3 trains have to be changed between Chur and Tirano. There is no direct route Chur-Tirano. The scenery is fabulous. We had clear skies. You can open the windows and it's beautiful. I recommend you stay on the right side of the direct to Tirano.
